AARP Experience Corps
AARP Foundation Experience Corps is an intergenerational, volunteer-based tutoring program that engages adults age 50 and older as literacy tutors. The program pairs volunteers with EVSC students needing additional reading support, empowering these students by strengthening their literacy skills and self-confidence. Our students see both academic and personal gains through this incredible program.

Academy of Science and Medicine (ASM)
The Academy of Science & Medicine emphasizes the attainment of skills for future medical professions through inquiry, critical thinking, and effective communication in the context of an integrated curriculum and community partnerships.
ASM welcomes all students with a passion for science and medicine to join our program! ASM is designed to nurture students’ potential, ignite their curiosity, and prepare them for a successful future in the fields of science and medicine. This one-of-a-kind curriculum offers a blend of immersive classes and dynamic, community-based experiences, creating an educational experience unlike any other. Children's Theatre
Providing students of all ages opportunities to express themselves is a priority for EVSC Foundation. In order to provide theatre opportunities for our younger students, we have partnered with Missoula Children’s Theatre.
Missoula Children’s Theatre, the nation’s largest touring children’s theatre, has been touring extensively for more than 40 years. From Montana to Japan, Missoula Children’s Theatre visits nearly 1,200 communities yearly with over 40 teams of Tour Actor/Directors. A tour team from Missoula Children’s Theatre will arrive in Evansville in June with a set, lights, costumes, props, and makeupー everything needed to put on a play, except the cast! After holding open auditions and casting up to 50 students, the show is rehearsed throughout the week and one public performance is presented the following Saturday.
All shows are original adaptations of classic children’s stories and fairytales… a twist on the classic stories you know and love. Along with getting involved in the production, three enrichment workshops are open to students. This production and the workshops are completely FREE to students thanks to community sponsors!

Hangers- the EVSC Clothing Store
Hangers is a clothing resource committed to serving EVSC students in need by providing them every-day living essentials that would otherwise be unaffordable. By providing clothing, school supplies, and hygiene products, we strive to improve the self-esteem and confidence of each student served, and in turn, ensure greater student success and fulfillment.
In 2017, Hangers and the EVSC Foundation began a partnership. Because both groups share a common mission and values, Hangers now operates within EVSC Foundation to continue serving students. We are located at the AIS Diamond Campus (entrance off of Wedeking Ave.) and operate 4 days a week.
Normal operating hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am-1:00 pm. Hangers is closed on EVSC snow days/days off. Summer hours are limited to donation drop-off only. From May-July, Hangers is open Mondays only, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. Please check our Facebook page or call us to verify holiday hours, as they vary.
Scholarship Opportunities
Payment Remittance
Have you received an EVSC Foundation Scholarship? Please be sure to download and fill out the Scholarship Payment Request Form and return it to the EVSC Foundation via mail or email. The EVSC Foundation issues the scholarship payment to your university’s Bursar/Office of Student Admissions where it is applied to your student account. 2025 Payment Request Forms should be submitted with applications for EVSC Foundation Scholarships.

EVSC Summer Musical
The EVSC Summer Musical provides students the opportunity to immerse themselves in fine arts and culture through a Broadway-style production. Beyond receiving exposure to the arts, students who participate also develop confidence, character, teamwork, and many other valuable lifelong skills.
The Summer Musical is one way we bring the EVSC Foundation vision to life: a transformed community where every student enjoys meaningful access to world-class learning experiences that prepare them to succeed in school and beyond. One of the coolest things about the Summer Musical is that all proceeds of the event fund scholarships, grants, and professional student experiences—further enhancing public education in our community.
